What is Allign (A-line)?
who we are
Allign is a scrappy art initiative covering art and queerness in the Middle Georgia area. Our goal is to highlight the amazing artistry that exists in Greater Macon area and uplift initiatives supporting queer folx and beyond. We believe creativity in the heart of soul of community, and seek to expand this philosophy by any means necessary.
What We Do
Allign uplifts marginalized artists with a multi-prong approach: education, entertainment, and commerce. This is presently executed through blog posts, workshops, an event calendar and an online shop.
The vision for Allign is to become an artist-led media company amplifying and supporting the art, voices, and ultimately lives of communities often overlooked and exploited. Allign aims to be a source of empowerment, deepening our connection with our creativity, our community, and ourselves.
Our Values
We are an unwavering supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and believe the trans identity deserves to be honored and protected.
We are vehemently anti-fascist, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist, and anti-Zionist (which all exist under the white supremacy umbrella). #FreePalestine
We believe oppression and repression of any of us, in any form, shackles all of us to the unjust and inhumane. It is time to embrace what we were meant for and use the alchemy of art to do it.
